A great hail of fire,
limbs torn apart,
Now sown together,
to create a morbid art.
A sculpture of flesh,
with wounds drawn upon
A dark, bleeding heart,
faces now toward the sun.

The lord of the river awakes;
Now, light decays.

I bring death of desire,
I turn bone to dust.
My name yet arcane,
Upon the tongue of man is lost.
I transcend the flesh,
I transcend the stars,
To seek from your pain,
And conjure all the meaning lost.
I gnaw upon the past,
I shun the present times.
I seek to destroy,
The days ahead and yet to come.
They carve upon my chest,
A script from times of old.
It reads: "We attempt
To end the day and cease the dawn."

Lead to the pyre,
Changes and fire,
Sand upon the sea.
Death of desire,
Elevate higher,
Sworn in ecstasy.
Lord of the river,
Sings a fever,
Cleansing of the flesh.
Evaporation,
Of recession,
Towards the burning end.

From the clash of the heart,
Is born a spark.
And of the spark,
Is born my art.
The bark is peeled,
The wound now healed.

Slowly now,
Blessed are the dead.
Slowly now,
Fortunate the sick.
Slowly now,
I implant the dread,
Slowly now,
I achieve my end.
